InWriting Privacy Policy

InWriting is provided by Predictive Technologies. It is built as a local-first utility without accounts, advertising, tracking, analytics, or a developer-operated cloud service.

What InWriting stores

InWriting stores the documents, extracted record facts, comparisons, dates, schedules, notes, and recovery information that you choose to create. This content is encrypted and kept in the app’s private storage on your device.

What Predictive Technologies collects

Predictive Technologies does not receive or collect your InWriting documents or app content. InWriting has no user account, hosted analytics, advertising SDK, tracking, cloud sync, or developer-operated backend.

Camera and photo library

Camera access is used only when you choose to photograph a document. Photo-library access is used only when you choose to import a document already on your device. InWriting does not use these permissions for tracking or advertising.

Exporting and sharing

Nothing leaves the app unless you deliberately export or share a copy. Once you send a file to a destination you choose, that destination controls its copy under its own privacy terms.

Recovery

InWriting can create recovery information that helps restore access to an exported copy. A recovery code does not by itself recreate documents that no longer exist. Keep both any exported copy and its recovery information somewhere you control.

Data retention and deletion

Your content remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Before removing the app or changing devices, export any records you want to keep. Removing the app may remove content stored only inside it.

Children

InWriting is a general-purpose household record utility and is not directed to children. Predictive Technologies does not knowingly collect personal information from children through InWriting.

Changes to this policy

If InWriting later adds cloud sync, accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, or another practice that changes this policy, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that functionality is released.
